  5. Canadian Medical Marijuana Products To Turn Recreational

The medical marijuana industry in Canada has a market that is becoming the test for some very viable and interesting products that target recreational customers, but many of these are not yet accessible to the public.

We have put together a list of some of these medical marijuana products that you can get an inside look at.  Let’s dive right in.

Clones

There are many legitimate processors that have not gone ahead to supply clones to their locations, even though they are fully licensed. However, Newfoundland has allowed marijuana dispensaries and other licensed retail entity to ship clones to recreational consumers in other provinces. For medical marijuana, there are many sellers that do offer clones to patients.

However, all patients have to receive a license from Health Canada, if they want to grow week and not only purchase it. Even though, there are several available seeds to purchase for recreational use, not many clones are available.  While this might change for places like Ontario because of their consideration for alternative options to wholesale OCS weed. The province is instead exploring possibilities of allowing private wholesalers as well as direct producers.

Dissolve Strips

The law allows licensed producers of medical cannabis oil to sell it in a discrete way. Some of these medical marijuana products include soft gels and oil capsules. Not only did Aurora do this, but they also went a step further by convincing the Health Canada organization that regulates cannabis to permit the company to begin selling Dissolve Strips. This is similar to Listerine, but considered to be edibles.

CBD Vaporizer Cartridge

Aurora has released a CBD vaporizer cartridge that holds as much as 550mg/ml CBD and as much as 30mg/ml THC. However, the vape oil won’t be ready until December 2019. For some time now, though, producers have been allowed to produce and sell cannabis oil. However, the producers of this oil had to obey changing regulations.

For one, the cannabis oil should not contain any extra additives. In addition cannabis oil products should not contain in excels of 30mg/ml of THC. Aurora, however, was not stopped by those regulations. They were able to comply with the regulations; producing medical marijuana products for a whole year now that were heavy with CBD.

Glass Tasters

In June 2019, Glass Tasters made by CannMart were profiled as medical marijuana products that were non-cultivated products that licensed processors had started to sell. They were offered to patients in amounts of 25g flower.

These medical marijuana products are packaged in one-hitters made of glass. The strains are priced at $3.99 minimum and $4.25 as the highest pride. There are ten cannabis strains available right now. This is an excellent way to try samples. The price of cannabis varies in each province.

Packaged Sizes

If you visited a marijuana dispensary that sold recreational weed, there will be dried cannabis in packages of varying sizes such as 1g, 3.5g, 7g, and possible15g packages. However you will rarely find it in 30g. At least, recreational consumers do have several choices. Most recently, a producer in Quebec announced their 28g packaged size.

It is known on the recreational market as “Original Stash.” It is sold for $125.70 and consumers receive a little less than $4.50 per gram. If you buy in build, you will get a decent discount. Most cannabis strains on the market are legally sold for an average of $11.50 per gram, which is still reasonable.

Final Summary

It is possible that some day, all consumers will be allowed to enter a medical marijuana store and purchase it without any restricted regulations. Until then, though, you have to buy it at the high prices and on top of that, you won’t get a refund.
