Top States With Qualifying Medical Conditions

Medical marijuana has been passed in the legislature for the multiple states. Some of these legislatures are new and others have been around for a while now. However, whether new or existing, there are still qualifying medical conditions that are part of the legislature and that states and medical cannabis patients have to adhere to. Below are 22 states listed along with the required qualifying medical conditions.

Alaska

In order to be considered for a medical marijuana card in the state of Alaska, the qualifying medical conditions include:

Arizona

The qualifying medical conditions for medical cannabis patients in Arizona would include:

  • Cancer
  • HIV/AIDS
  • Seizures
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Nausea
  • Wasting syndrome
  • Muscle spasms

Arkansas

Arkansas has amended their qualifying medical conditions for medical cannabis patients. These include:

  • Chronic or intractable pain
  • Fibromyalgia

  • Tourette's syndrome

  • Chronic Nausea

These conditions are effective now, but marijuana dispensary licenses won't be accepted until the first of June 2017.
