First Myth

Some people say that CBD is medical and is not psychoactive and that THC is for the recreational user only. Scientists have classified this CBD or cannabidiol as being non-psychoactive. What they are saying is that means you cannot get high on it.

However, some people say how something that comes from a marijuana plant could not have an effect on your consciousness when it has been used for lack of appetite, reducing anxiety and as an anti-inflammatory. So, the conclusion for this myth is that CBD should be considered psychoactive, even if it is at a lower level and not a high dose like THC. While it might not impair your physical or cognitive function, it still has a little mind altering effect. So this is one of the CBD myths.

Second Myth

The second myth is that CBD has a sedative effect according to early studies and research. Well, CBD by itself is not a sedative. However, when it is paired with THC from a marijuana strain, it can have sedating impact. There are some marijuana strains that are more dominant in CBD, but still have traces of THC.

In that situation, you would find a psychoactive effect and you might feel the effects both mentally and physically. However, things like hemp where CBD is the only ingredient will not give you that sedating impact. Does that make sense?

Third Myth

One of the CBD misconceptions is that just a little dose of CBD is sufficient. No, not true. It is best to use high doses of CBD. Fourth Myth

One of the CBD misconceptions that need recognition is that CBD is the exact same thing as hemp, isolate and medical marijuana, but it is not! Let's get one thing straight. One CBD molecule remains the same despite its origin in medical marijuana or hemp. The CBD products that are sold on the cannabis market do not have a similar effect, despite their origin.

Fifth Myth

One of the CBD misconceptions is that CBD works successfully when cannabinoid receptors are activated. All of us have an endocannabinoid system in our bodies. What does this do to us? It is helpful in responding to sickness and even injuries. It also restores our balance at a cellular level.

The sixth and last myth is that CBD is legalized in all fifty states, which is not true.
